The XFX Swift Radeon RX 9050 Gaming Edition pairs an AMD RDNA 4 GPU with 8GB of GDDR6 memory and a black dual-fan cooler. It uses a PCIe 5.0 interface and one 8-pin PCIe power connection, with two DisplayPort outputs and one HDMI output.

RDNA 4 and 8GB GDDR6

The RX 9050 has 16 compute units and 1,024 stream processors. Its 8GB of 18Gbps GDDR6 uses a 128-bit interface, providing up to 288GB/s memory bandwidth. XFX lists a game clock of up to 1920MHz and boost clock of up to 2600MHz; actual clocks depend on workload, thermals and operating conditions.

Swift dual-fan cooling

The black Swift shroud houses two fans. XFX specifies PTM7950 thermal interface material and a Zero DB fan system that can stop the fans under suitable low-load conditions.

Display connections and media support

Two DisplayPort 2.1 connections and one HDMI 2.1 connection provide display options. XFX lists AV1, H.264 and H.265/HEVC encode and decode support. Software, driver and display compatibility should be checked for your intended use.

XFX lists card dimensions of 234 × 144 × 51mm and a minimum 450W power supply requirement. Confirm clearance against those dimensions rather than relying only on the listed dual-slot profile, and choose a PSU suitable for your complete system. One 8-pin PCIe power lead is required.
